Moira joined the staff at Laidlaw College in July 2022.  She Co-Leads the Student Experience team, who support applicants and students in their study journey from enquiries to graduation.  She also provides academic and pastoral support, with a primary focus on our Pasifika students and assists with AV/IT support.

After graduating from the University of Auckland with a BCom (MSIS) degree, Moira worked as the IT Administrator for VINZ for over 10 years. After starting a family, their needs led Moira to a new career path in education and support. She worked for Te Akoranga Playcentre in various roles in leadership, support, and teaching, and as a SPACE (Supporting Parents and Children Education Programme) Facilitator. More recently she worked for Visionwest as the administrator for Eden Cottage and Community Services.

Moira is of Samoan Chinese descent, and was born and raised in New Zealand. Married to her husband of Indian Chinese descent, from Fiji, they are blessed with three children. The Krishna family are members of Massey Presbyterian Church where Moira is involved with the children’s ministry, with a personal interest in inclusivity for children with additional needs. She enjoys spending time with family and friends at gatherings, sports, and holidays.
