Rebecca de Jong is passionate about all things mission. Rebecca completed a BTh through Laidlaw College and a MA in Missiology through All Nations Christian College (UK). Rebecca has been a missionary in Myanmar for twelve years with her husband, John, and four children. She is committed to preparing students for the mission field and brings passion and energy to her classes.

Rebecca sits on the governing board of Global Connections in Mission (GC3), is a council member of Missions Interlink (NZ) and the Australian Association of Mission Studies (AAMS). Editorial roles include being on the editorial team of Australian Journal of Mission Studies (AJMS), and a regional book review assistant for Mission Studies: Journal for the International Association for Mission Studies. She is committed to the local church and an active member of Lincoln Road Bible Chapel.
