  • MDiv

Steve Graham is Principal of Equippers College in Auckland and also in England. Equippers College is the training arm of Equippers churches, a network of 31 churches in New Zealand and around 27 around the world. For many years Steve was on the National Leadership Team of ACTS Churches the umbrella movement of Equippers Churches (formerly called the Apostolic Church).

Steve is married to Christine, they have three adult children and at this stage three grandchildren.

Steve and Christine started in ministry 40 years ago with Youth for Christ in Taranaki. They moved to the Philippines where Steve studied at Asian Theological Seminary and then worked with Servants to Asia’s Urban Poor in Manila and the Southern Philippines.

For the last 25 years Steve has been involved in ministry training, setting up what is now Vision College in Christchurch, then teaching and later the Dean of Laidlaw College Christchurch. During most of that time Steve and Christine were also pastors of a church in Christchurch. For the last 11 years Steve has been Principal of Equippers College in Auckland and for the last two years splitting this with launching a partner College in Surrey, UK to meet the training needs of Equippers Europe.

After years of parachurch ministry and interdenominational ministry training, Steve enjoys relating across a wide range of churches and denominations, ministering in churches and having input into leadership teams. However, the last 11 years have focused on being part of training in a large Pentecostal church network and seeking to interpret and articulate how these larger relational networks function and grow. Steve does a lot of travel around Equippers Churches in Europe, Pacific, Asia and Africa. Steve also has a particular interest in Charismatic and Pentecostal theology and practice.
