Creative Professional

The Opportunity

Laidlaw College is looking for a creative professional to join our Communications and Marketing team. Ideally you will bring both technical and creative abilities and will enjoy working with a team of servant hearted and passionate people. 

You’ll be curious, and love keeping on top of trends, with a natural inclination to promote to youth and young adult markets. This new role will support a wider team who combine a strong sense of mission with the academic mind and educational heart of a multicultural,interdenominational, intergenerational Christian College. 

This role reports to the Communications Lead. Our preference is for this role to be full time, but we welcome applications from those available to work 30+ hours a week.

Who We’re Looking For

You will have experience in at least two of the following skillsets:

Digital marketing

  • Strong capability in website management (web development skills a plus), email marketing, social media, and all forms of online marketing and analytics. 
  • You’ll love a fast paced marketing environment, and enjoy seeing those stats role in.

Graphic design

  • Attention to detail and can churn out the work for digital and print outputs. 
  • Technically proficient - fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, including video editing, with creative intuition, taking initiative with solutions.

Messaging and copywriting

  • Skilled at shaping messaging, aware of the nuances of audience, and helping us craft language that communicates key concepts and stories to wide and targeted audiences.
